Don’t be scared.
Dig for the deepest part, even the most painful part.
We will not let anything distract us from finding the source of our issues and discontents.

What ever way you decide to do it – quiet time is a must!
Even if it is just a few minutes behind the bathroom door.
I’m put in mind of Susanna Wesley;
Mother of ten;
When needing quiet time for prayer, sat at he kitchen table, (for two hours) with her apron pulled up over her head.

Until next time when we look at Excavation; Be Well.
In these times, these verses from the Psalms bring me great comfort. I hope they will do the same for you.
Psalm 139:13-15 (ESV) For you formed my inward parts; you knitted me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works; my soul knows it very well. My frame was not hidden from you, when I was being made in secret, intricately woven in the depths of the earth.
Psalm 18:19 (NIV) He brought me out into a spacious place; he rescued me because he delighted in me.
Psalm 34:4-5 (NIV) I sought the Lord, and he answered me; he delivered me from all my fears. Those who look to him are radiant; their faces are never covered with shame.
Psalm 46:10 (NIV) He says, “Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.”
Psalm 57:1 (NIV) Have mercy on me, my God, have mercy on me, for in you I take refuge. I will take refuge in the shadow of your wings until the disaster has passed.
Psalm 119:49-50 (NIV) Remember your word to your servant, for you have given me hope. My comfort in my suffering is this: Your promise preserves my life.
Psalm 119:165-166 (NIV) Great peace have those who love your law, and nothing can make them stumble. I wait for your salvation, Lord, and I follow your commands.
Psalm 131:1-2 (NIV) My heart is not proud, Lord my eyes are not haughty; I do not concern myself with great matters or things too wonderful for me. But I have calmed and quieted myself, I am like a weaned child with its mother; like a weaned child I am content. Psalm 150:6 (ESV) Let everything that has breath praise the Lord! Praise the Lord.

Until next time …
