Simple Question.

When is a simple question not a simple question?

It was our second Sunday back in “Real” church.

Livestream church and YouTube church are still available for those who aren’t ready yet to mingle; my husband and I have been ready for weeks!

I often take notes during church.

My brain is such that the very minute I think “I know I won’t forget that!”, then I better write it down right away.

I want to share a few notes here with you.

Incomplete sentences, but very complete thoughts.

If you would care to share in the comments, I would love to see if how these fragments sit with you.

  • What’s the (my) problem?
  • Am I willing to put His answer into practice?
  • Pharisees = Religious Police.
  • Jesus WAS old school, a traditionalist.
  • Uncleanness comes from the heart.

I’m still toying with my answers.

As I’ve said here many times, growth is an “Inside job”.

So, inside I go.

Friday Favorites – Bird Songs

When I hear this sound, it takes me back to my childhood. I’m at Gram-pa’s farm, walking the fence rows to the pond. Such a simple time.

These little guys are always happy. They always have something to sing about. We should take lessons from them!

Nothing says Spring like the sound of the Robin!

Wide eyed and feisty!

This. This sound brings calm to my soul. When I hear it, I know I’m home. Wherever I am.

Back to Gram-pas farm, and here where I am now. The best of both worlds!

With Winter, comes this little guy. Such a clown – always out for a good time. Can you hear him laughing?

The Value of Quietude #10 – Peace for the Hard Times

Welcome the final session.

As you may or may not know, these little videos were made last year in January.

How could we have known what was ahead of us?

Us, being literally the entire planet!

The coronavirus, social distancing, and sheltering in place, deciding the difference between “Essentials” and the “non-essentials”.

All of this has the ability to bring us to our knees.

It is then left up to us if we are on our knees in despair, or if we are on our knees with a knowing that God Himself is not surprised by any of this, and that He has a further plan for us.

He is in control. We can count on Him.

I have found the second choice to be most liberating.

Although I do not relish the way things are at this time, I am calm, and confident, that we will come out even stronger on the other side.
