First off, here on Friday, I would like to send out a great big Thank You for all of my new followers;

Just the other day I was putzing around in the driveway, waiting for my ride.
I was noting the really cool texture on one of the trees that faces our driveway.
I quickly snapped a photo, and walked away.
Looking at it later, I saw him – the one I’ll call the Grumpy Guardian.
He’s been guarding our driveway all this time without our knowledge.
A little over 30 years!
He really made my day!
Perhaps he needs a Christmas hat?
