Room Full of Questions

“In a room full of questions, the one with the answer is the automatic leader.”

Tommy Tenney

Well I used to love this quote, up until a couple of months ago.

Looking at the “Automatic leaders”, kind of made me ill.

Maybe it’s really the one who speaks first?

With truth, or something else.

No one, but no one really knows how to fix this.

Reminds me of a scripture;

Romans 1:22 (KJV) says this; Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools.

So, I said all that, to say this;

My Father in Heaven is not surprised by all of this.

He is not afraid.

He created it all.

It stands to reason that He , and He alone, knows the answer.

We need to be humble enough to receive His answers.

Humble.

That’s tough.

Humans really aren’t wired that way.

Why not you ask?

Why doesn’t He just DO something?

I believe that reason is because He wants us to have he freedom to choose to listen to Him or not.

If He chose for us, we could never really appreciate all of His creation, and we wouldn’t choose to love Him anyway.

Romans 8 (ESV) says this; 20 For the creation was subjected to futility, not willingly, but because of him who subjected it, in hope 21 that the creation itself will be set free from its bondage to corruption and obtain the freedom of the glory of the children of God.

We don’t HAVE to be in bondage, even when things look chaotic.

The key – is choosing well.

Deuteronomy 30:19 This day I call the heavens and the earth as witnesses against you that I have set before you life and death, blessings and curses. Now choose life, so that you and your children may live.

Until next time … Choose well.
