Our Thanksgiving Vacation

What do you get when you take the two youngest grand children, G-ma, G-pa, the dog, and put them together with the older cousins and their granddaughter, and add to them to a GMC Denali, for a weekend?

Fun – That’s what you get!

Memories – That’s the coolest thing you get!

On our way to southern Missouri.
Happy travelers.
Beautiful skies.
Add some color.
White Birch in Peek Ranch.
At Peek Ranch.
Greer Springs Mill.
Greer Springs Mill.
Enormous wasp nest on site at Greer Mill.
The sign on the road used to say Greer on one side, and Greer on the other. Sadly I couldn’t find the sign.
One of hubby’s old home places.
Hubby’s childhood haunts.
Not forgotten.
There were new flowers near the back.
Saturday’s Tour.
The day gave us clouds, but we made the best of it!
Waiting in line to get to the top.
Always, always, the line.
Our scruffy bunch!
Ooops! They got me!
I think they like each other.
A beautiful but bumpy ride to the
church.
Calms. My. Heart.
Always the same – Ever changing
Last Missouri meal together.

I hope you enjoyed your pocket trip “Down home.”

See you next time.
